Bombs and Napalm didn’t stop them. 
The Viet Cong weren’t playing Dominoes. 
They just kept on fighting ‘til they won 
And drove the GIs from their homes. 

While spin-doctors we gave power 
Made up our enemies: 
The red scare became the holy grail 
For our munitions factories. 

These Lies That Launch our Wars 
Greed and Power are the score 
To These Lies We’re Killing For. 

And where Tigris meets Euphrates 
No mass weapons, no 911 tie-- 
Just world leaders trading blood for oil 
And people on both sides that died. 

The spin doctors we give power 
And mullahs hiding in their mosques 
Preach a rhetoric of hate and fear-- 
See how a human race is lost--
