L-O-V-E
I see your face in the morning,
I see you late at night.
I hear our song on the radio,
With words from my own heart.
If she feels the same, why are we apart?
Is she playing a game? Am I caught in a flame?
I’m so confused by:
L-O-V-E : Love
The city breathes all around us now.
Her harsh stare cuts me down.
I stand accused of needs too strong;
The verdict’s in her eyes.
Before she speaks, I can see that it’s through.
She’s won the game, but my feelings remain.
I still believe in:
L-O-V-E : Love
